Step Up to the Plate

Our youth baseball leagues teach more than batting and catching—they build confidence, resilience, and lifelong friendships through play.

Fundamentals, Fun, and Teamwork

Youth baseball at Daxko YMCA introduces players to core skills like throwing, fielding, and batting while fostering sportsmanship and self-esteem. Whether they’re stepping onto the field for the first time or preparing for competitive play, our leagues meet them where they are.

Coaching That Encourages Growth

Our coaches don’t just teach the game—they lead with heart. Kids learn how to support teammates, focus under pressure, and celebrate every win, big or small.

Building More Than Players

Baseball teaches patience, confidence, and perseverance. Through practices and game play, children learn to try, fail, adjust, and grow—valuable lessons they’ll carry off the field.

Not at all! Our programs welcome all skill levels and focus on helping each child grow at their own pace.

Players should bring a glove. We provide bats, balls, helmets, and uniforms. Personal gear is optional.

Definitely! Volunteers can assist with coaching, team coordination, or just cheering from the sidelines. Sign up on our Volunteer page.
